The Foundry Ministries, Inc.
has an immediate opening for a Retail Operations Associate (Pelham, AL).
The Associate is primarily responsible for sorting, sizing, and hanging clothes on the sales floor.
Additionally, the Associate is responsible for putting out all categories of merchandise as directed by the Retail Operations Associate Team Lead.
It is the duty of the Associate to hold to the mission, vision, and core values of The Foundry.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Sorts and sizes clothing and other items into proper subcategories in preparation to be placed on the sales floorPlaces merchandise in proper area on the sales floorEnsure all store procedures and protocols are followed by staff, program participants, and customersResponsible for maintaining a neat, orderly, and clean production area at all timesAssist in the supervision, placement, training, and cross-training of all program participants assigned to the thrift storeMeet daily, weekly, and monthly production quotasAssists with carry-out, warehouse, and distribution center as directedAssists sales floor team as cashier as directedQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High School Diploma, High School Equivalency Certificate, or GED
Experience:
Experience in pre-sorting, sorting, sizing, or hanging desired, but not requiredRequirements:
Able to lift heavy objects and stand at work station for long periods of timeMeet production daily, weekly, and monthly sales quotasAble to work until close every Thursday nightAble to work required overtime as assigned by the General Manager, including, but not limited to evening shifts and special eventsQuick learner and enjoys the challenge of taking on new assignmentsFunctional computer knowledge, including emailAbout the Company:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
