Human Resources Generalist

Brief Description:
The Human Resources Generalist will coordinate all employee benefit programs and play a key role in building a strong employer brand for our company to ensure we attract, hire and retain the most qualified employees.
Salary Range:
$50-$60k (flexible/based on experience)
up to 40% BONUS

Responsibilities Recruitment Develop creative methods and techniques to source, identify and recruit quality candidates for open positions.
Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.
g.
social media and professional platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed and CareerBuilder.
Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates.
Work closely with managers and supervisors to coordinate job postings, conduct pre-screening/selection of incoming resumes, perform telephone interviews.
Manage candidate processes (schedule meeting/tests, etc.
) and give feedback to the candidates.
Ensure the timely and quality hiring for vacant and new positions.
Maintain and update recruiting report outlining positions filled, length of vacancies, sources used and cost per hire, etc.
Support other HR-related activities as assigned.
Employee Benefit Programs Coordinate all employee benefit programs.
Participate in new hire orientation process.
Attend training for employee benefit programs.
Assist employees to improve understanding of benefit programs.
Monitor employee leave programs.
Proactively communicate with managers and supervisors to help manage employee leave and attendance policies.
Backup for payroll processing as needed.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or another related field.
1-3 years of experience in an HR-related position preferred.
HR certification (PHR or SPHR) a plus.
Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures.
Previous recruiting experience desired.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to take initiative and use sound judgment.
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet research skills.
Some travel required to attend recruiting and training events.
