We are currently hiring an Procurment Coordinator to join our purchasing team.
This position will work on-site in our Corporate Offices in Pelham, AL and will enjoy our on-site cafe, and monthly employee events.

Updates all purchase order due dates based on WIP reports from factories.
Expedites purchase orders at suppliers based on demand.
Processes wire requests and communicates between Asian Suppliers and Accounting.
Reviews purchase order shipment dates and ensures that late and early shipment fees are charged to suppliers.
Confirms correct information on purchase order confirmations sent from suppliers.
Tracks product (samples, parts, marketing materials, open quality issues, new product, etc.
) weekly.
Works with vendors/forwarders when issues arise regarding backlogs, delays, documents, etc.

Helps maintain the accuracy of purchase order pricing.
Processes secondary purchasing requests as needed.
Reconciles purchase orders as needed.
What you bring:
High school diploma or equivalent some college strongly preferred.
One to two years experience with inventory, logistics, procurement required.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong computer and organizational skills; ERP Systems experience strongly preferred.
Ability to multi-task and evaluate processes and systems for improvement.
Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
